151 Coffee has built a reputation of creative drinks with a comforting and energetic atmosphere; and the German Chocolate drink being a perfect example. The German Chocolate is a classic mocha mixed with chocolate milk and caramel, with subtle hints of coconut. From the first sip, you can clearly taste the sweet chocolate (without it being overwhelming), along with a mix of caramel.
Though the flavor of the German Chocolate drink is amazing, the presentation leaves room for improvement. Served in a plain clear cup, it did not immediately catch my eye the way the taste did. A drizzle of caramel or chocolate along the inside of the cup, or a touch of whip cream would improve the looks of the drink, and better reflect the taste.
Another note to add would be the mood of 151 Coffee. The space was bright and inviting, matched with colorful seating and umbrellas to keep the sun out of your face. Music was playing in the background to add energy, which makes it an ideal place to socialize or simply enjoy your coffee.
Service was another highlight of the visit. Staff were attentive and friendly, and willingly answered questions about the ingredients in some of the drinks. Not only did they take our order quickly and efficiently, our drinks were delivered not long after.
Overall, the German Chocolate drink is perfect for chocolate loving people who want to flare up their coffee or refreshers. Not only is the beverage itself amazing, but with the setting complimenting the creativity of their beverages, making it an amazing place for those who want to relax by themselves or with others.
