Big, big plans are coming soon for the 2026 Rock Creek seniors. With graduation right around the corner, there are many different paths that the seniors are taking towards their future.
Seniors are pushing through the last quarter of their high school career and are ready to take the next step. From signing for sports to enlisting in the army, seniors are excited to branch out and leave the herd.
Ezra Spiller has a bright future ahead of him in and outside of the classroom. He has been involved in football and baseball for 4 years and varsity choir for 2 years.
“My favorite high school football memory was playing Andale at substate,” Spiller said.
Earlier this year, Spiller signed to Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas to continue his football and educational career. He is not only looking forward to playing football at the next level but he is also eager to choose his own path to study.
“[What I am most excited for is] getting to study something I enjoy,” Spiller said.
At Tabor, he will be diving into ministry where he hopes to one day be working in the church with his family. Outside of his education, Spiller is also planning on tying the knot with fiance’ Alyssa York. They got engaged in December 2025 and have announced that their wedding will be in June 2026.
“The planning has been stressful but also fun, it has been hard with Alyssa being in Arkansas and not being able to plan everything together,” Spiller said.
York is currently attending University of Arkansas but plans to move in with Spiller after their wedding. She will continue her education at Tabor College to study nursing and to play on the women’s golf team.
Spiller carries with him the lessons, memories, and support from his years at Rock Creek. While he may be leaving the herd, the values and experiences he gained here will continue to guide him wherever his path leads.
