Dear Rocky,
I hope you’re having a great day! How do you get out of feeling burnout and sluggish? Can you tell me ways to study when I’m not wanting to? Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Tired and Trying
Dear Tired and Trying,
First off I’m glad you asked this! Feeling sluggish and burnt out is a hard feeling to get out of. When it comes to studying I like to take the approach of just taking a moment stepping back and telling yourself “Just five to ten minutes” and set your phone in the other room so it is not a distraction. Before you know it, ten minutes have passed and you got a lot done. If that doesn’t help try taking short breaks in between 20 minute intervals again leaving your phone in the other room because that will help a lot.
As far as feeling burnt out. Don’t try to push harder, it’s your body’s way of saying “Hey I need a break”. Try getting a snack or taking a break throughout the week even just an hour or two a day. Do something you enjoy and stretch or go for a walk to help give your body a natural reset. If you have the time, short naps are good too for your body to recharge and it will help you a lot with feeling burnt out.
With lots of hope,
Rocky The Mustang
