As Thanksgiving approaches, The Hoof Print staff took a moment to reflect on the people, moments, and opportunities that bring joy into their lives. In the middle of busy school days, deadlines, and stories to cover, it’s easy to forget the small things that make a big difference.
This week, our staff shared what they’re most grateful for and their answers remind us all of the importance of gratitude.
Kaitlyn Anderson is thankful for “the opportunities to do new things”, appreciating how each new challenge helps her grow.
Camry Wilkens shared that she’s grateful for her “family,” the people who support her through everything.
Gavin Smith said he’s especially thankful for “his friends”, who make school days better and give him a strong support system.
Tristyn Broussard expressed gratitude for “his animals”, especially his 8 goats that make him laugh.
Becca Easton is grateful for “getting a new opportunity every day”, reminding us to appreciate the fresh starts and possibilities that come with each morning.
Mrs. Schmidt, our adviser, stated that she is thankful for “her family and her health”, recognizing how precious both are during the holiday season.
As we head into the holiday break, the staff encourages everyone to take a moment to reflect on what they’re thankful for, big or small. Gratitude isn’t just a Thanksgiving tradition; it’s a mindset that helps build connection, positivity, and resilience all year long.
From all of us at The Hoof Print, we hope your Thanksgiving is filled with warmth, gratitude, and good company.
