On April 13, the Rock Creek Board of Education started their meeting with honoring several athletes.
First they recognized the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams for making it to state. In girls’ basketball, 3 junior players received All-State honors: Kylee Frazee, Rory Pitzer, and Lucy Martinie. In addition to these 3 girls, Rylie Friess received recognition as an All-Flint Hills honoree.
Along with basketball recognition, Hailey Worden, was also recognized for being Rock Creek High School’s first HOSA state officer.
Luke Skinner performed at Regional Large Group in Choir, earning a perfect score. This reflects the effort and commitment he contributed to achieve such a result.
Finally, the meeting shifted towards discussion of building maintenance and electrical sign repairs. The next meeting will be May 11, at the district office.
