SALINA, KAN., April 18, 2026. Jenette Folmer was nominated for the annual Kansas Teacher Of The Year award for region 1. Folmer has been a teacher at Rock Creek High School for 7 years and was nominated by her peers.

Principal Sam Pauls and her family attended the event to support Follmer at the Tony’s Pizza Event Center this past Saturday.
