Volleyball Makes Another Great Appearance at State

Making it the programs 4th overall time making it to state

All lined up, locked in, and ready to make Mustang history again during the sub-state game that Rock Creek hosted on November 1, 2025.

On October 31, 2025, the Rock Creek volleyball team made another impressive appearance at the state tournament. The Mustangs opened play against Paola in a close match but fell in both sets (26–24, 25–21). In their second matchup, Rock Creek faced Bishop Miege and battled to a hard-earned victory in three sets (25–19, 22–25, 25–17). The team then took on Andale, competing fiercely before dropping both sets (25–23, 25–16).

Overall, the Rock Creek volleyball team delivered a strong performance and continued to showcase why they are one of the most respected programs in the state.

Camry Wilkens is a sophomore at Rock Creek High School. Camry is involved in Chick-fil-a Leader Academy, FCCLA, Class Officer, Renissance, volleyball, track, and The Hoof Print online newspaper. Outside of school activities, Camry enjoys hanging out with family and friends, going to church, and traveling. She joined The Hoof Print online newspaper to try something new and learn more about what journalism really is all about.

Denise has been in journalism for 2 years in the middle school but currently she is an Intro to Journalism student. She also is in charge of the graphic design for both journalism classes. Denise is involved with theater as well as dance. Her favorite thing to do is hanging out with her friends and dance performances.
