Rock Creek High School is proud to congratulate the 2024–2025 Mustang yearbook staff on receiving the Kansas Scholastic Press Association (KSPA) 4A Award of Commendation. The overall ranking is based on several categories and in the Essentials/Unifying Concept category they received an All-Kansas ranking recognizing the team’s quality work in producing a lasting document of the school year.
This recognition reflects the dedication, creativity, and professionalism of a student-led staff that worked collaboratively to tell the story of Rock Creek High School 2024-2025 through their chosen theme “DEFINE.”

In addition to the core yearbook staff, several Intro to Journalism students contributed meaningful academic coverage, gaining hands-on experience while strengthening the overall depth and consistency of the publication.
Judges praised the staff’s work, noting “Congratulations on creating this wonderful gift for your student body. It is something they will treasure for years to come.”
The Kansas Scholastic Press Association evaluates student publications statewide, with 3 levels of distinction: All-Kansas, Awards of Commendation, and Award of Merit.
