Day 2 of Rock Creek Principal Forums Set to Go Live Again on March 3

Focused and ready: Rock Creek 5B Broadcasting students check the controls just moments after going live for the principal candidate forums. Senior Joe McFall and juniors Braden Miller and Nate Bortnick make sure all systems are go for the student-led principal candidate forum held on March 2 in the commons of the high school. This was the broadcast class students’ first time to produce a compeletely student-led live stream for our school.

Rock Creek High School will continue its principal selection process tomorrow with two live-streamed candidate forums, giving students, staff and community members multiple ways to get involved.

The Student Forum will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Public Forum at 3:30 p.m. Both events will be held in the high school commons area and streamed live on the Rock Creek Journalism / RCTV YouTube Channel for those who cannot attend in person.

The production is being led entirely by Rock Creek High School’s 5B Broadcasting class students, who will manage filming, audio, graphics and overall coverage of each candidate forum. Their behind-the-scenes efforts ensure the process remains accessible and transparent for the entire Rock Creek community.
