CONCORDIA, KAN., April 16, 2026. The Rock Creek Concert Band participated in the annual KSHSAA Band music festival. Conducted by Daniel Smith the band received a Superior 1 rating.

The group is scored on an 80-point scale, with scores ranging from 69 to 80 earning a Superior 1 rating. The Rock Creek Concert Band prepared three pieces to play for a panel of 3 judges.

The group received scores of 75, 71, 67 for the judges

“Band had an amazing performance today,” Smith said.
